Really enjoyed the quadruple room I had with the bedroom. The location was beautiful and GREAT, very close to a lush forest and a river. Also, it was very close to bars and restaurants.

I really enjoyed its amiable and excellent employees.

The twin room was bright and neat. The location was incredible within walking distance of Old Town.

Magnificent and stunning location in Freiburg im Breisgau, just off a shopping centre with an organic supermarket Alnatura, a popular restaurant and beer garden and beer garden and bar. Also, easy to get to from the main Train station.

The unit we got was spotless with the bedroom.

The food we had was reasonably priced and excellent! Spotless and huge units with the bedroom, and the staff were really helpful.

Its location approx 10-15 minutes' walk from an iconic medieval gate tower was stunning and fantastic. There were shopping malls and a supermarket around the hotel. The room I had was spotlessly clean and perfect with the bedroom.

Comfortable bed, hot water in shower, helpful staff , convenient location with tram stop nearby. Ideal for exploring the area. Large outdoor eating area, popular with locals.

Excellent stuff and excellant place. Suburban location, relatively near Historical Merchants' Hall. Delicious food in the in-house restaurant.

The staff were so friendly and professional, making us feel very welcome. The hotel's suburban location was perfect, not too far from the city centre. It had a homely vibe and was ideal for exploring. The breakfast and evening meals were fantastic. The building itself was impressive, with beautiful grounds for dining and drinking. It was a popular spot for local families in the evenings. a GREAT recommendation for a super enjoyable stay!

We only stayed here for 1 night, as we didn't have time, even so everything was wonderful. Got the same twin room booked online with the bedroom.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk to the city center and all its attractions. We loved being able to explore the historic area and visit the famous Munster cathedral. we found it very convenient that the hotel was located near a tram stop, making it easy for us to get around and explore other parts of the city. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was quite enjoyable, offering a decent selection of items to start our day off right.

There were a few negatives that impacted our stay. the room we were assigned was in need of some serious maintenance.

location close enough to a shopping centre with an organic supermarket alnatura, rewe, reformhaus, dm, the black forest and the cathedral and old town for which freiburg is best known. bright and absolutely perfect rooms with the bedroom, very good staff.

Wi-Fi was very poor.

We got great value for our money at Gasthaus Schutzen. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect with free parking and a tram stop right outside. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Food for breakfast could have been better with more variety.
